TWICE showed potential ahead of their comeback.
This is an increase of more than 130,000 copies from the previous and 10th mini album Taste of Love released in June, and TWICE continued to grow significantly. Taste of Love ranked sixth on the U.S. Billboard’s main chart “Billboard 200,” achieving the highest performance in the history of mini-albums released by K-pop girl groups, and succeeded in charting “Billboard 200” for the third consecutive week.
TWICE is growing endlessly even in its seventh year since its debut. The Feels, the first English single released on October 1, has had good achievements on global charts. The single ranked 83rd in Billboard’s Hot 100, 80th in the UK’s Official Chart, and 83rd in Apple Music’s Top 100 Global Chart. In addition, it surpassed 50 million cumulative streaming numbers worldwide in 36 days of its release on Spotify, ranked 60th on the Global Top 200 chart on Nov. 7, 26th on Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.), and 41st on Billboard Global 200 on Nov.
Amid global interest, TWICE’s 3rd full-length album is also expected to satisfy fans’ expectations with high-quality songs. The album name is inspired by the initials of the official fandom name ONCE and the group name TWICE. Besides, the album contains a total of 17 songs, produced by Tommy Brown, British singer-songwriter and pop star Anne Marie, K-pop hitmaker Shim Eun-ji, etc. In addition, Nayeon, Jihyo, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung participated in the Korean version of FILA, Real You, Cactus, CRUEL, and The Feels, respectively.
Meanwhile, TWICE will host a comeback live at noon on November 12 and release its new album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3″ simultaneously around the world at 2 p.m. (0 p.m. Eastern Time in the United States). On the 13th (KST), the group will appear on the famous U.S. music program “MTV Fresh Out Live” and perform the new song “SCIENTIST.”
