Following Fashion Week, Rosé raced back to Korea, fueling speculation that she might collaborate with IU.

If there is real cooperation between BLACKPINK Rosé and IU, it will undoubtedly rule the charts.

According to published financial reports, BLACKPINK will make a comeback later this year. Following Rosé and Lisa’s individual debuts, this will be the first group activity. However, Lisa has only debuted for a month when fans have been buzzing with information about another personal activity of Rosé.

Specifically, fans are spreading a rumor that Rosé will collaborate with IU in the upcoming product. In many countries, especially Thailand, the hashtag about IU and Rosé’s collaboration even continuously climbed to the top trending on Twitter.

It’s unclear what the truth is, but IU and Rosé supporters will not be shocked if there is a collaboration. The two have previously indicated their desire to collaborate in 2017. At that time, IU was the first to speak out. When asked who she would like to collaborate with, the female singer did not hesitate to mention Rosé, even saying, “She’s very attractive.”

And when Rosé heard that her senior wanted to cooperate with her, she expressed her gratitude by saying that she was honored, even if she couldn’t believe it. Thus, this collaboration appears to have been planned ahead of time; the only question is when the song will be published.

Meanwhile, at 0:00 on October 1 (KST), IU teased her comeback with an artistic pink moon concept photo with dandelions flying in the wind. Along with the image is the text: “Meet again when strawberry moon comes up.”

Many netizens think that the person IU wants to “meet again when strawberry moon comes up” is none other than Rosé.

Rosé also unexpectedly returned to Korea quickly after finishing her schedule at Paris Fashion Week while Jennie and Jisoo are still in France. This raised the suspicion that she returned to prepare for the project with IU.

Previously, in March, Rosé and IU had a “clash” when launching new products at the same time. Rosé’s solo debut, “On The Ground,” faced a stiff competition, “LILAC” from IU. Therefore, the combination of these two top Kpop female singers is even more desirable.
