Kim Hye-yoon Expresses Feelings Prior To “Lovely Runner” Final Episode

On May 28th, Kim Hye-yoon revealed her feelings through her agency Artist Company, saying “I’ve spent four seasons with Sol. I was so happy because all the times I acted as Sol were full of fun memories. Knowing that it’s the end, I’m very sad but I want to thank everyone who has loved Sol, a character I will always remember and keep in my heart”.

She continued, “It was my honor to play such a positive and bright character like Sol, who fits the word ‘an iron hand in a velvet glove’ the most. While playing Sol, I learned so many things not only as an actress but also as Kim Hye-yoon myself”.

Kim Hye-yoon then shared, “Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to all the viewers who have loved ‘Lovely Runner’ until now, and also to everyone who has loved Im Sol”, adding “I will greet you all again with more diverse roles, so please look forward to my future and wait for me”.

In “Lovely Runner”, Kim Hye-yoon portrays Im Sol, who goes back to 2008 to save her favorite idol Ryu Seon-jae (Byun Woo-seok), the person who became the motivation for her to continue living in the moment she almost gave up her will to live. With her wide acting spectrum, Kim Hye-yoon fully immersed herself in the character and presented deep and perfect expressions and emotions.

In particular, Kim Hye-yoon’s performances in crying scenes received many compliments. From tears of frustration to pain, resentment, and guilt when witnessing Ryu Seon-jae’s death, the actress made viewers cry together with her.

Proving her presence as a potential actress in her 20s, Kim Hye-yoon raised high expectations for her acting transformation in the future.

The last episode of tvN’s “Lovely Runner”, starring Kim Hye-yoon, will air at 8:50 p.m. on the same day (May 28th).
