5 K-dramas with stories that are unrelated to their titles
Our Beloved Summer, Snowdrop, Happiness,… are Korean dramas with contents that are different from their titles.
1. Our Beloved Summer
Our Beloved Summer gives off the vibes of a coming of age romantic comedy. The first 2 episodes are actually quite funny, but in the latter 3 episodes, how the story of the two main characters unfolds makes the viewers cry. Is this turning into a melodrama?
Until the final episode, many viewers still struggle to understand why a series about the zombie apocalypse is called Happiness. The whole drama is filled with terror, intense chases, battles to survive and death. It takes fans 12 episodes to finally get a sweet kiss from Park Hyung Sik – Han Hyo Joo.
3. Sweet Home
As savage monsters start to wipe out humanity, the residents of an apartment complex have to fight to survive. Sweet Home is another post-apocalyptic series of the horror genre that gets a sweet and peaceful name, making the viewers think of a romantic drama.
4. Age Of Youth
Age Of Youth is a series about a group of college friends that was quite successful in 2017. The film is introduced as a story about the youth of young girls, who are optimistic, humorous and cheerful. But in fact, Age Of Youth has quite dark content with many plot twists that give the audience goosebumps.
Snowdrop evokes a sad love story with a tragic ending. But as the producer assures the public, Snowdrop is a dark comedy and in fact the first two episodes are also quite funny. In recent episodes, Snowdrop has seemed like an action, detective, and even horror drama. Currently, the contents of Snowdrop are still relatively obscure.
