Singer-actress IU revealed her own way to get closer to people, recommended interesting dramas and movies, and spoiled her album plans.
On February 24th, a Q&A video was uploaded on Harper’s Bazaar’s official YouTube channel in which fan IU answered fans’ questions.
First, when asked about how she approaches people for the first time, IU said, “I don’t immediately approach people I meet for the first time. If I feel like I want to be close after the first meeting, I tend to meet them for the second time.”
Then, when asked to select between “approaching the person you want to get close to first” and “waiting for them to talk to you”, IU answered, “I think it’s both. However, I rarely meet people I want to get close to, so I try not to miss out on such a rare opportunity. That’s why I’d sometimes approach people first. If I really want to get to know someone, I will contact them.”
In addition, IU revealed that her plan for 2023 is already full. “To give a little spoiler, there are albums and dramas. I want to do a ‘big and certain happiness’ this year,” the singer-actress said.
Afterwards, IU also mentioned, “Actually, I had plans for an album with the theme of being 32 years old. If we still count age the traditional Korean way, wouldn’t it be next year?
