These actors have been accused of harassing and even raping women.
1. Lee Seo Won
Lee Seo Won officially started acting in 2016 and was known for his supporting role in the drama “Uncontrollably Fond” starring Suzy. He went through many difficulties to build his career, but in May 2018, the actor born in 1997 shocked the audience after he was urgently arrested for serious crimes. Korean announced said that Lee Seo Won once threatened a female with a knife after sexually harassing her while drunk. When the police arrived at the scene, the actor was still drunk and even threatened the police. Immediately, he was removed from the drama “About Time,” and was fired from his weekly MC position on “Music Bank.” He was also prosecuted and had to stop all entertainment activities.
2. Onew
In August 2017, actor/idol Onew was accused of sexual harassment in a bar in Gangnam district. The unnamed victim alleged that the male idol had inappropriate behaviors, such as touching her sensitive parts. Onew confessed that he was drunk at the time of the incident. Not long after, the victim withdrew from the lawsuit. Although not as serious as the above case, the idol was still removed from the cast of “Age of Youth 2.”
3. Park Shi Hoo
Involving in a much more serious case than the two mentioned above, Park Shi Hoo raped a girl at a bar in 2013. Although there were many twists and turns around this incident, it completely ruined his career. KBS later invited Park Shi Hoo to participate in “Golden Cross”, but because of public pressure, he lost this project. It was not until 2016 that Park Shi Hoo was able to come back, and so far, he has portrayed many main roles but still cannot regain his former glory.
