2NE1’s Concert Sells Out as 400,000 Fans Rush for Tickets

The 15th-anniversary concert of the group 2NE1 has drawn overwhelming attention, with all tickets selling out instantly, showcasing the group's enduring ticket power

According to YG Entertainment on August 6th, tickets for the “2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL”, set to take place on October 5th and 6th at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, sold out as soon as they went on sale the previous day. 400,000 people simultaneously accessed the ticketing site, leading to both shows selling out immediately.

This massive turnout reflects the intense anticipation from fans worldwide for the return of the “legendary K-pop girl group” 2NE1. News of the concert, announced in July, caused a significant buzz in the music industry both domestically and internationally.

The fierce competition for tickets was likely fueled by the high demand for a larger venue and additional shows. This overwhelming response underscores the deep connection fans have with 2NE1 and their music, as well as the long-standing loyalty and excitement for the group’s return.

YG Entertainment expressed their gratitude, “We are deeply thankful for the passionate support and love from fans. We are preparing a stage that will be unforgettable, matching the time you’ve waited, so please look forward to the special moments 2NE1 and fans will create together.”

Following their Seoul concerts on October 5th and 6th, 2NE1 will head to Kobe World Hall (Japan) at the end of November and Tokyo Ariake Arena (Japan) in early December. The group plans to further expand their global tour, allowing them to connect with even more fans well into next year.
