28-year-old singer Kwon Eun Bi, “I want to turn 30 quickly. Thank you for calling me ‘summer queen’”
Singer Kwon Eun Bi expressed her desire to grow older and enter her 30s as soon as possible.
Kwon Eun Bi guested on the August 8th broadcast of KBS CoolFM’s radio “Lee Eun Ji’s Music Plaza”.
During the broadcast, DJ Lee Eun Ji mentioned the recent hot topics about Kwon Eun Bi’s bikini fashion at Water Bomb Seoul 2023. She said, “I heard people say ‘Waterbomb Festival is divided into before and after Kwon Eun Bi performs’.”
Kwon Eun Bi shyly replied, “Thank you for the name. I used to like winter, but now I’m starting to like summer better”.
Regarding her appearance at Waterbomb, Kwon Eun Bi shared, “First, it was very slippery. I often perform in high heels, but at Waterbomb, I wore shoes with the lowest heels”, adding “I have never been that soaked in my life. Except for when I take a shower or lower-body bathing, there’s no other occasion where I would get wet like that. Since my hair and makeup can get messed up when the audience shoots water guns, I tried to open my eyes even when they shot in my eyes.”
She continued, “I used to do underwater filming for the cover of my album ‘Glitch’. At that time, I practiced opening my eyes in the water, and it was really helpful. Since makeup can get smudged when you get wet, I enjoyed the stage while blinking properly without having to rub my eyes.”
In fact, Kwon Eun Bi has been active as a DJ for SBS PowerFM’s “Youngstreet” since last month. She shared, “I’m F type (feeling type) so I can sympathize with others easily. Sometimes, when there is a situation where I can’t empathize, I switch to the mode of a T (thinking type) without knowing. I thought I was empathizing, but after working as a DJ, I’ve learned more about myself.”
“Senior DJ” Lee Eun Ji then revealed her experiences, saying “Sometimes when I don’t know how to respond, I just look at the production staff. Anyway, this is not something I can do alone. Sometimes I pass the questions on to the listeners.”
Born in 1995, Kwon Eun Bi is currently 28 years old. On the radio, she drew attention when saying, “I want to enter my 30s as soon as possible”.
Hearing that, Lee Eun Ji wondered, “When I was in my 20s, I also wanted to turn 30 quickly. I had so many hard times in my 20s. Do you feel the same way?”. Kwon Eun Bi nodded and confessed, “If I get older, I will be more mature than I am now, right? I think I can handle things more easily since I will be able to accept more situations and my thoughts will have grown a lot.”
Meanwhile, Kwon Eun Bi recently made headlines for her attractive appearance in a bikini when performing at Waterbomb Seoul Festival 2023. Thanks to that, her song “Underwater”, which was released in October last year, also climbed upward on music charts. Kwon Eun BI has just released her first single “The Flash” on August 2nd.
