In June, various media outlets from terrestrial broadcasting stations KBS, MBC, SBS, cable channels tvN, JTBC to TVING and Netflix will present new dramas.
We organized new dramas to be broadcast from June.
Why Her
Starring Seo Hyun-jin, Hwang In-youp, Huh Joon-ho and Bae In-hyuk, “Why Her” tells the painful but exciting love story of the cold-hearted lawyer Oh Soo-jae, who pursues success with nothing in her hand, and law school student Gong Chan, who is not afraid of anything and always tries to protect Oh Soo-jae. It will air on SBS on June 3rd.
Link: Eat, Love, Kill
Starring Yeo Jin-goo and Moon Ga-young, “Link: Eat, Love, Kill” tells a story about a man who suddenly shares a woman’s feelings and feels all her joys, sorrows and pains. It will premiere on tvN on June 6th.
Yumi’s Cells 2
TVING’s “Yumi’s Cells 2” unravels the daily life of an ordinary office worker Yumi through the eyes of the cells in her head.
Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area
Netflix’s original series “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” depicts a hostage crisis situation set in the Korean Peninsula, involving a genius strategist and people with different personalities and abilities. It will be released on Netflix in June.
Jinx’s Lover
KBS2’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Jinx’s Lover” is a fantasy romance drama about a human man who accepts his unhappy life as his destiny and lives according to his destiny, and a goddess who jumps out of the unknown world to break the curse and overcomes a cruel fate.
Cleaning Up
JTBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Cleaning Up” tells the story of three cleaners at a financial company who resort to insider trading, in order to feed their family and fulfill their dreams, after accidentally overhearing a piece of financial information. The original is a drama of the same name that aired on ITV in the UK in 2019.
Insider
Starring Kang Ha-neul and Lee Yoo-young, JTBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Insider” revolves around a judicial trainee whose life turns upside down when he goes on an undercover investigation, and ends up struggling to try to recover his normal life.
Doctor Lawyer
Starring So Ji-sub, Shin Sung-rok and Im Soo-hyang, MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “Doctor Lawyer” is a medical court drama about a genius surgeon who becomes a medical malpractice lawyer after losing everything due to a rigged surgery and a prosecutor who loses her only family and lover through that same surgery.
Alchemy of Souls
Set in a fictional country called Daeho that does not exist in history or on maps, “Alchemy of Souls” is about the love and growth of young magicians as they overcome their twisted fates. It stars Lee Jae-wook, Jung So-min and Yoo Jun-sang.
