Zico Unveils HYPE’s Han River-view Building+ Bang Si-hyuk’s Merger Proposal
Zico drew attention by unveiling HYBE’s office building and why he decided to merge with it.
In the latest episode of MBC’s entertainment program “Omniscient Interfering View,” which aired on February 17th, HYBE’s office building was unveiled, drawing attention.
HYBE’s building has a whopping 26 floors and 11 elevators. Many infrastructures, including private choreography practice rooms, styling rooms, conference rooms on each floor, as well as cafeterias, cafes, and gyms with views of the Han River were shown.
When asked about his relationship with HYBE, Zico said, “I was contacted by Chairman Bang Si-hyuk about two years after KOZ Entertainment was established. We met and he asked me about the goal of the establishment. When he heard my story, he said, ‘You have enough qualities as a creator. But running a company is a different thing. So you should develop your skills as a creator within a big system like HYBE.’ That’s why I decided to merge.”
Later, Zico met with P.O. and the two talked about their difficult debut stories as members of Block B. Zico also revealed that he often fought with P.O., from minor verbal fights to fierce costume fights.
