TVing has just unveiled the ‘2021 TVing Awards – Top 9 Most Watched Dramas’. This list was made after analyzing data collected from all VOD users from December last year to this month.
According to TVing, “Work Later, Drink Now” is the most-watched drama this year. The result drew keen attention as no one expected this drama to surpass many popular series, such as “Hometown Cha Cha Cha”, “Hospital Playlist 2” and “Vincenzo”, to rank 1st place.
“Work Later, Drink Now” is a TVing-produced drama based on the webtoon ‘Drinker City Women’ that tells about the story of 3 women whose belief in life is one drink at the end of the day.
Actresses Lee Sun-bin (as Ahn So-hee), Han Sun-hwa (as Han Ji-yeon), and Jung Eun-ji (as Kang Ji-goo) appeared in this series as “the trio of best friends” and have received huge love from K-Drama fans.
As a drama that drew realistic sympathy, “Work Later, Drink Now” went viral among young viewers, becoming a hot topic. As a result, TVing officially announced the production of its second season immediately after Season 1 ended. The original cast actors, including Lee Sun-bin, Han Sun-hwa, Jung Eun-ji, and Choi Si-won, are expected to return in Season 2.
