Jang Hyuk, “I work with Jang Na Ra every 10 years, and this is already our 4th time… If we do it together, it will succeed”

Actor Jang Hyuk talked about his special relationship with actress Jang Na Ra.

On January 30th, Kim Jong Kook uploaded on his Youtube channel “GYM JONGKOOK” a video titled “Today is funnier than yesterday… (Feat. Cha Tae Hyun, Jang Hyuk, Hong Kyung Min, Hong Kyung In)”.

The video shows actors of the “Dragon Club” friends being invited to Kim Jong Kook’s house for a talk.

Kim Jong Kook said, “Talk about the new drama you’re doing this time”, giving Jang Hyuk an opportunity to introduce his new acting project. Jang Hyuk said, “It will be out in mid-March. The drama is called ‘Family’. It has everything, from romantic comedy to investigation, action, etc.”

Actresses Jang Na Ra and Chae Jung An appear alongside Jang Hyuk in “Family”, which is scheduled to air on tvN. This will be the 4th time Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra work together after “Successful Story of a Bright Girl” (2002), “Fated to Love You” (2014), and the special drama “Old Goodbye”.

In this regard, Jang Hyuk explained, “This is my 4th work with Jang Na Ra. If I act with Na Ra, it’s likely that it will succeed. We meet each other again every 10 years”. When his friends pointed out that the timing was not correct, the actor added, “When did a one-act drama together while filming our second work”.

Jang Hyuk continued, “We collaborated for the first time when I was still single. The second time was when I got married. This time was after I had children. I really don’t do that on purpose”, revealing the unexpected situation.

Hearing this, Cha Tae Hyun said, “I don’t have any actor friend like that”. Kim Jong Kook responded, “I guess no one wants to work with you more than once”, drawing laughter.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Family”, starring Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra, tells about a two-faced husband, who is an ordinary office worker and a killer, and a wife who struggles for her family. It will premiere in the first half of this year.
