Predebut stories of Hae-rin, a member of Min Hee-jin’s girl group New Jeans, in middle school is attracting attention online.
On July 23rd, netizen A, who is a middle school alumni of New Jeans Hae-rin, uploaded a post on the online community Nate Pann.
A said, “Hae-rin has been famous for being pretty at school since she was in her first year of middle school. As I got close to her, she was the softest and nicest person I’ve ever seen.”
A said, “She didn’t curse at all, she only said pretty things quietly, laughed and said it was okay even in situations where she might feel bad. She was a perfect angel who made all her friends feel appreciated.“
A said, “When she moved away and we lost contact, there was a rumour that she has become a trainee, but she suddenly debuted and all the friends she was close to at the time were so happy. Hae-rin was born in 2006 and debuted with New Jeans on the 22nd of last month. According to their agency ADOR on August 15th, the initial sales of New Jeans’ debut album “New Jeans” (record sales for a week after its release) were 311,271. It is the highest record among girl group debut albums ever.
