On January 20th, singer and actor Yoona uploaded a new video on her YouTube channel “Yoona’s So Wonderful Day”
The video shows Yoona on her way to attend the APAN Star Awards. She said, “I have two award ceremonies to attend today. Because of the MBC Acting Award, I was unsure if I’d be able to attend. I won the Popularity Award”, adding “My fans voted passionately to get me this award. Also, this year, with ‘King the Land’, I received lots of love. I wanted to thank everyone. So I said I’d attend”.
Revealing that she recently caught a cold, Yoona said, “My voice is not completely back yet. So I tried to speak as less as I could. There are voice translation apps. I answered people by turning that on. Because I was set to be the MC, I tried to take good care of my voice. It’s much better now”.
She continued, “At first, it hurt so much. It was worse than COVID-19”, adding “My voice sounds husky now. I think it has its own charm. I shouldn’t really be using my voice much. I think I should keep quiet until my MC session”.
After winning Popularity Award, Yoona continued with her next schedule, which was the MBC Acting Awards. She won the Excellence Award for “Big Mouth” last year so she continued appearing at the event this year. The next day, she had to host MBC Gayo Daejejeon. Yoona flaunted her elegant beauty in pink and yellow dresses. Introducing the ribbon pin that matched her second yellow dress, saying “Ambitious work from my hair stylist. The ribbon she picked out herself”.
Yoona then wrapped up the video with a New Year’s greeting, saying “I hope 2024 brings good physical and mental health. Good work on 2023. Let’s be healthier and happier in 2024.”
