YG’s new girl group, BABYMONSTER, is receiving a lot of attention even before their official debut.
According to YG Entertainment on January 20, BABYMONSTER‘s ‘Dance Performance’ video exceeded 4.19 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release.
Considering that this is not an official performance video and that they have yet to debut, this is a remarkable achievement. The number of subscribers to the official YouTube channel has reached 600,000 in less than a month since its launch.
This video was filmed at the end of the month assessment to test the skills of the trainees every month. Trained by choreographer Lee Jung of YGX, they completed a high-quality performance with outstanding ability even as trainees, receiving warm praise from music fans.
BABYMONSTER is warming up its popularity early amid YG’s bold promotions. Starting with the announcement video of the new girl group launch on January 1st, the videos of Haram, Ahyeon, and dance performance were sequentially released, quickly surpassing 54.69 million views in total. Thanks to this momentum, all content released topped the YouTube popularity chart.
