“What we want to say to the fans are the same,” JooE (Momoland) addressed negative responses about the shared contents of the members’ last letters to fans

JooE (Momoland) directly responded to the concerns about the contents of the members’ letters.

On February 16th, JooE posted a capture of a comment about Momoland’s final letters to fans on her Instagram story.

The commenter said, “You just copied the pasted [the content of the letter], right?” to which JooE replied, “Our six members wrote it together after discussing [the content] because the meaning and depth of what we wanted to say to the fans are the same.”

Earlier, Momoland’s agency MLD Entertainment said, “After a lengthy discussion with Momoland (Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy), we respected each other’s opinions and agreed to terminate the exclusive contract upon expiration of the contract period.”

Recently, all six Momoland members released handwritten letters to express their feelings about the group disbandment. What attracted attention from netizens was that the contents of the six letters were the same.

In the last letters to the fans, the members said, “First of all, we sincerely apologize to our Merries facing the news through an article. We are truly sorry for the late update,” adding, “We sincerely thank our beloved Merries for providing us with precious memories and being by our side for the last seven years. Our Merries have been everything to us and always will be.” They endded the letters with “Thank you” to those who have supported them in their journey.

While the moment of disbandment was difficult for the group and the fans, a fraction of netizens expressed their doubt as to why the letters talked about the same thing.
