Uhm Jung-hwa mentions falling ill after her solo concert “Lee Hyori also almost passed out”

On December 26th, a video titled “Uhm Jung-hwa’s Lifting Care + People Uhm Jung-hwa Met at the Awards Ceremony” was released on the channel “Umaizing Uhm Jung-hwa TV”.

In the video, Uhm Jung-hwa is shown getting makeup done for the “28th Consumer Rights Day Awards”. Uhm Jung-hwa was selected as Actress of the Year by viewers in the cultural and entertainment category for the drama “Doctor Cha”.

She said, “The director of ‘Doctor Cha’ is also going to be receiving an award, so I’m going to have the chance to meet with my team from the drama!“

Uhm Jung-hwa then mentioned falling ill after her solo concert, “My body feels so sore after my solo concert in Seoul. I had a sore throat and nausea. I was extremely sick. I even had to get an IV. Even Lee Hyori got a cold. She told me she was so sick that she almost passed out.“

Uhm Jung-hwa also talked about her goals for next year, “I don’t really set goals for myself like that. I don’t think of it like ‘I’m going to accomplish something by the end of the year’. It’s more like ‘I’m very excited to see what I’m going to work on this year’. My concert was coming up, so I haven’t had time to plan anything. I suddenly received a proposal for my concert when ‘Dancing Queens on the Road’ was finished, so, I’m looking forward to something like that. I always have hope. I’d like to find a good piece to work on and play a good character. Finishing my concert in Seoul made me want to sing a good song again. I’m building up my archive of memories from my concert. It’s always a very precious moment when people sing my songs along with me. I try to remember precious memories like that. I don’t want to stop doing that.”
