“Twenty Five Twenty One” ratings soared as Nam Joo Hyuk took off Kim Tae Ri’s hat and gave her a sweet kiss
The “hat kiss” between Baek Yi Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk) and Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri) in episode 13 of “Twenty Five Twenty One” made the ratings rise.
According to Nielsen Korea on March 27th, the latest episode of “Twenty Five Twenty One”, which aired on the previous day, scored an average rating of 11% for households in the Seoul metropolitan area and 9.9% nationwide, remaining its No.1 spot in viewership ratings across all channels including terrestrial channels. In addition, the ratings soared to a real-time peak of 12.7% for households in Seoul and 11.4% nationwide, proving the drama’s tremendous popularity.
In this episode, Na Hee Do clearly expresses her disappointment to Baek Yi Jin, who keeps avoiding her.
Following their kiss in episode 12, Baek Yi Jin decides to distance himself from Na Hee Do, a fencing player, because of his job as a sports reporter. Baek Yi Jin approaches Na Hee Do, takes off her hat and kisses her deeply, despite her being covered in tears telling him not to take one more step. Viewers who watched Baek Yi Jin’s confident move and emotional “hat kiss” could not hide their excitement.
Baek Yi Jin then delivers a sweet and firm line, “I will do everything I can do with you. So be prepared.” Baek Yi Jin and Na Hee Do both cry and reaffirm their feelings for each other, touching viewers’ hearts.
