Actor Choi Hyun-wook is officially joining tvN’s new variety program After-School Theater Club (working title). According to exclusive reports on September 26, Choi will appear as one of the fixed cast members.
The show follows a unique concept where actors take on the role of drama club teachers at a rural elementary school, guiding students in theater. The cast will work with the children to complete a full play, aiming to deliver both healing and heartfelt inspiration to viewers and audiences.
Choi Hyun-wook will join Kim Tae-ri as a fixed cast member. The two previously worked together in the hit tvN drama Twenty-Five, Twenty-One, which concluded in April 2022. Their reunion after three years, this time in a variety program, is drawing attention for the fresh chemistry they may showcase.
After-School Theater Club is set to begin filming at the end of October and will be broadcast next year.
