In the April 5 broadcast of the tvN variety show After School Teacher Tae-ri, viewers saw Kim Tae-ri and the children grow closer as they shared their feelings more openly.

On this day, Kim Tae-ri conducted her seventh class. The children performed lines they had prepared as homework, but mistakes continued to occur. One child, overwhelmed by the desire to do well, ended up in tears. Kim Tae-ri comforted them by saying, “It’s more important to have fun than to do well,” but later reflected on whether her words might have unintentionally added pressure.

During the eighth class, practice still did not go smoothly. Kim Tae-ri gave careful, individualized feedback to each child in an effort to improve their performance, yet she worried that they might be losing the joy in the process. Despite this, she continued the lesson, hoping the experience would remain meaningful in the children’s memories.

Later, the atmosphere shifted during a camping session held in a mushroom house yard. After the meal, during a candlelight moment, the children began to recall their time together and gradually broke into tears. Kim Tae-ri was also overwhelmed by their sincerity, creating a scene filled with both laughter and emotion.

At the end of the broadcast, camcorder footage left a lasting impression. When the children asked, “Do you like us?” Kim Tae-ri answered, “I really like you.” Though simple, her response conveyed genuine affection and touched viewers deeply.

Through her time with the children, Kim Tae-ri continues to grow not only as a teacher but also as a person. The story of the drama club preparing for their recital airs every Sunday at 7:40 PM on After School Teacher Tae-ri.
