tvN is enjoying a strong start to 2026, driven by the success of its weekend dramas and expanding momentum across weekday programming. The recently concluded Saturday–Sunday drama Pro Bono surpassed an average viewership rating of 10 percent, marking tvN’s third consecutive weekend hit following Bon Appétit, Your Majesty and Typhoon Family. Together, the three dramas reaffirmed the competitiveness of tvN’s weekend lineup.
Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, starring YoonA and Lee Chae-min, captivated global viewers with its rich storytelling and strong chemistry, while Typhoon Family drew praise for Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha’s performances, which vividly portrayed the lives of ordinary people surviving the IMF era. Pro Bono earned positive reviews for its socially conscious narrative centered on public interest lawyers advocating for marginalized communities.
tvN’s weekday momentum has also been notable. The Monday–Tuesday romantic comedy Spring Fever, which opened 2026, surpassed an average rating of 5.4 percent within two weeks of airing. Related video content has exceeded 100 million views, signaling strong digital traction alongside linear viewership. The drama also ranked within the global Top 10 TV shows on Amazon Prime Video during its first broadcast week, entering the Top 10 charts in 48 countries and regions.
The network continues to build on this momentum with high-profile releases. Undercover Miss Hong, which premiered on January 17, reached a peak rating of 7.2 percent by its second episode. Set in the 1990s, the drama blends a securities fraud investigation with retro office comedy, drawing praise particularly for Park Shin-hye’s dual portrayal of a sharp elite investigator and an inexperienced junior employee.
Upcoming titles are also generating anticipation. Our Universe, set to premiere on February 4, stars Bae In-hyuk and Roh Jeong-eui in a cohabitation romance involving the sudden responsibility of raising a 20-month-old child. The youthful cast and heartwarming premise have already attracted attention.
Following Undercover Miss Hong, the suspense drama Mad Concrete Dreams (tentative title) starring Ha Jung-woo, Im Soo-jung, Kim Jun-han, Jung Soo-jung, and Shim Eun-kyung will explore a desperate property owner’s involvement in a staged kidnapping to protect his family and assets. tvN’s variety lineup is also expanding.
