The first teaser for tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Twenty Five, Twenty One” has been unveiled.
On January 10th, the first teaser video of drama “Twenty Five, Twenty One”, starring Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk, was uploaded on various channels of tvN, including the Youtube channel ‘tvN drama’, drawing keen attention.
“Twenty Five, Twenty One” tells about the wandering and growth of young people who lost their dreams in the 1998s. This drama is created by PD Jung Ji-hyun and scriptwriter Kwon Do-eun, who were behind the success of tvN’s “Search: WWW”.
Kim Tae-ri will play Na Hee-do, a high school student as well as a passionate fencing prodigy who didn’t give up on her dream even though her team was broken up due to the IMF. Nam Joo-hyuk will appear as Baek Yi-jin, the eldest son of a family that was destroyed by the IMF crisis. He then became a reporter after living a tough life.
The teaser video showed the two facing each other at a book rental store. In the scene when Na Hee-do and Baek Yi-jin standing face to face with each other, Na Hee-do’s narration, “Eighteen, when we called each other’s names for the first time”, was revealed.
“Twenty Five, Twenty One” will premiere at 9:10 P.M on the 12th of next month after “Bulgasal” ends.
