Trainee Lee Da Eul reveals his feelings after being eliminated from “Boys Planet”, “I sincerely apologize for my inexperience”
Mnet’s “Boys Planet” contestant Lee Da Eul confessed his thoughts about participating in the show.
On April 5th, Lee Da Eul posted a handwritten letter written in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese on his Instagram, saying “I want to thank everyone around the world for giving me such a precious experience.”
Lee Da Eul continued, “First of all, I have successfully finished working alongside the company that I joined at the end of last year. ‘Boys Planet’ will always hold a special place in my heart, even now when I chase my new dreams!”.
He shared, “There were certainly some hard times during my pork with ‘Boys Planet’, and I often worried about my participation since it required a skill set that I’m not fully confident in. However, in the end, I am happy with everything that I learned, experienced, and gained. From spending time with good colleagues to practicing, performing, and receiving training from great teachers. I am grateful! I’d like to thank all the Star Craetors for both their criticisms and encouragement”
In particular, he confessed, “I would like to sincerely apologize to those who felt disappointed by my lack of skills and inexperience”, adding “When I thought of the people who were criticized for supporting me, my heart ached for them. I made a pledge to myself that I will become a person who supports you instead”.
Before ending his letter, Lee Da Eul wrote, “Meeting everyone was truly a great fortune and blessing”, adding “When the time comes, I will come back just as the moon always does. Please look forward to what the future holds for us!”.
Earlier on “Boys Planet”, Lee Da Eul was criticized for his attitude of ignoring the members who proposed the idea of redistributing singing parts even when could not fully understand the lyrics and choreography, saying “If my part gets changed, everyone will have no reason to vote for me”. Since then, Lee Da Eul’s rank dropped drastically and he was eliminated in the 2nd ranking announcement ceremony at 47th place.
