Formed through Mnet’s survival show Boys Planet, EVNNE consists of seven members Keita, Park Han-bin, Lee Jeong-hyeon, Ji Yun-seo, Yoo Seung-eon, Mun Jung-hyun, and Park Ji-hoo all former contestants from the same show.
As the first spin-off group from Boys Planet, EVNNE initially debuted as a project-based team but has since shown impressive growth. Having celebrated their second debut anniversary in September, talks about contract renewals emerged around that time, raising hopes among fans that the group might continue beyond their initial project timeline.
Industry insiders revealed that representatives from the members’ respective agencies recently held discussions about the group’s future direction and potential long-term plans.
This move follows a trend seen with other survival show groups, such as Kep1er, who restructured into a seven-member team after re-signing and successfully extended their promotions. As more project-based idol groups transition into permanent acts, fans are eager to see whether EVNNE will also secure a new contract and continue their activities as a full-fledged group.
