An audience at the recent Pop-up Cinema: Buan Moving festival revealed their affection for the movie “My Sassy Girl”.

Starting with the opening film “Sunset in My Hometown” by director Lee Joon Ik on August 25th, Pop-up Cinema: Buan Moving festival continued with the outdoor screening of “My Sassy Girl” and “City of the Rising Sun” on the second day.

After attending the outdoor screening of “My Sassy Girl” at 5 p.m., director Kwak Jae Yong was seen spending time communicating with the audience together with CEO Shin Chul of the movie company NewCine and actor Cha Tae Hyun.

In particular, a “true fan” participated in the event and confessed that they had watched “My Sassy Girl” about 200 times. The fan’s affection for the movie drew admiration from everyone and received a big round of applause.

This festival, which began on the 25th and was held on the outdoor stage of Byeonsan Beach in Buan for three days until the 27th, organized screenings for five films with the theme “youth”, including “Sunset in My Hometown”, “My Sassy Girl”, “City of the Rising Sun” and “Delta Boys”. There was also a section for directors, actors, and fans to meet and share stories about the movies.

Pop-up Cinema: Buan Moving was hosted and organized by the authority of Buan, Jeollabukdo-do Province led by Kwon Ik Hyun. Kada Creative Lab (CEO Jeon Hye Jung), an agency based in Seoul and London that has introduced Korean cultures, such as movies, exhibitions, and performances, to the global stage, movie entertainment media Max Movie, and heritage outdoor brand Snow Peak also joined hands to complete a successful event.
