’90 degrees greeting + handshake’: Big Bang T.O.P’s surprise fanmeeting right after his discharge

Big Bang T.O.P. (real name Choi Seung-hyun) held a surprise fanmeeting with some 200 fans.

T.O.P gathered with fans on a pedestrian overpass in front of Hannam Elementary School after his military discharge on July 6th at Yongsan Art Museum in Hannam-dong, Seoul. He arranged a meeting with his fans in the absence of reporters. T.O.P, dressed in a black suit, greeted the fans with 90 degrees bows and reportedly shook hands with some fans.

Earlier, T.O.P’s agency YG Entertainment has stated that, “In fear that we might disturb visitors of the art museum, we have asked for a quiet discharge. There will be no separate event to share his thoughts on the discharge“.

Meanwhile, T.O.P, who began his military service as a mandatory police officer in February 2017, was sentenced to 10 months in prison and suspended for two years after he was found to have smoked marijuana before joining the army with Han Seo-hee, a former trainee. Since then, he has been stripped of his duty as a police officer and served alternative service at the Yongsan Craft Museum under the Yongsan Ward Office, but has stirred many controversies due to his excessive vacation schedule and some other problems.
