According to a report by Maeil Business Newspaper on July 5th, the world-renowned luxury brand Christian Dior will hold a global fashion show at the Seoul campus of Ewha Womans University at the end of this month.
Maeil Business said, “Christian Dior is confirmed to be planning a fashion show at Ewha Womans University’s campus ECC (Campus Complex) at the end of this month. This is the first time a global brand’s fashion show has been held at a university campus in Korea. Christian Dior reportedly made the decision in consideration of the beauty of the ECC building and the need to strengthen its partnership with Ewha Womans University”.
BLACKPINK’s Ji-soo (Kim Ji-soo), who is Dior’s global ambassador, and celebrities in the fashion world are expected to participate in this event. In Korea, Dior has not held any fashion show in Korea since the Asian Pacific fashion show for the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of its foundation at Seoul Olympic Park in 2007.
Through Maeil Business, an official from the fashion industry explained, “Since the campus of Ewha Womans University is a beautiful place famous in Korea and is recommended by fashion officials, it is a suitable place to enhance the show’s status”
