“There was a ‘location tracker’ on our artists’ car,” an idol agency urgently report its position

There is a location tracker attached to the car of famous idols? It’s terrible just to imagine.

KQ Entertainment, the agency of ATEEZ, said in its official position on August 26th that it has carried out legal measures against sasaeng fans who attached location trackers to its artists’ vehicles.

“KQ Entertainment has taken legal action regarding the action of invading ATEEZ’s privacy. The perpetrator wanted leniency, but our agency has set a precedent for those who take our privacy violations lightly and we will continue our policy of non-agreement and non-leniency to prevent further damage.”

“The perpetrator was found guilty of violating the law on the protection and use of location information,” it said. “In addition, we will proceed with additional civil lawsuits against other criminal charges.”

Finally, the agency added, “Please refrain from following and trying to get a hold of ATEEZ’s personal information as well as schedules other than the official schedule in the future. We are deeply grateful to all the fans who have supported us.”
