The most anticipated actresses in 2022: Who beats Kim Hye-soo (No.3) and Kim Tae-ri (No.2) to top the list?
The list of “most anticipated actresses in 2022” selected by Cine21, a media outlet specializing in movies, is drawing attention.
On Dec 31st, Cine21 released the list of “most anticipated actresses in 2022”. They said, “A total of 14 categories were surveyed by 62 experts who are leading the Korean video content industry, including film and drama production.”
According to the results, Han So-hee topped the list of actresses. She was followed by Kim Tae-ri in 2nd place, Kim Hye-soo in 3rd place and Yum Jung-ah, IU, Park Eun-bin in 4th place.
Cine21 explained the reason for the selection, “Netflix’s series ‘My Name’, in which Han So-hee challenged herself to perform high-level action scenes, received good reviews.“
The drama “My Name” depicts the harsh truth and revenge that Ji-woo (Han So-hee), who enters an organization to find the culprit who killed her father, faces after infiltrating the police under a new name. In this work, Han So-hee received favorable reviews from Netflix’s officials for her outstanding acting skills.
Aside from this, Koo Kyo-hwan, Jung Ho-yeon and Lee Do-hyun were respectively selected as the most anticipated actor, new actress and new actor in 2022.
