Rapper KittiB has revealed a heart-warming story about her senior, female rapper Jessi.
In 2015, Mnet’s “Unpretty Rapstar” gained great popularity by discovering rappers such as Jessi, Cheetah, and Kisum.
At the time of the broadcast, Jessi showed her senior charisma and did not hesitate to criticize the rap skills of her juniors. Jessi also mentioned her junior KittiB, saying, “I listened to KittiB’s music once, and she was swearing in English.”
When KittiB urgently replied, “I don’t use (English) that much, unnie,” Jessi replied, “It didn’t make any sense?”
However, KittiB did not back down and appealed to share the stage with Jessi. Meanwhile, Jessi later expressed her dislike to share the stage in an interview with the production staff, saying, “I wanted to change (teams).”
Later on, when the video of this scene gained attention again on an online community, KittiB shared a behind-the-scenes story with Jessi on her SNS on April 9th.
Here, KittiB said, “After the shooting that day, unnie and I had a smoke break together, and she gave me various advice and showed a lot of affection.”
KittiB also added that Jessi contacted her after the broadcast in worry that she might be hurt, and expressed her gratitude.
Many people were deeply moved by Jessi’s warm-heartedness, who was actually caring and considerate to her juniors, contrary to her harsh image on the screen.
On the other hand, Jessi debuted in 2005, while KittiB made her debut in 2012.
