Kim Da Mi’s visual in new drama attracts great attention but the opening rating is not so good
The first episode of Kim Da Mi’s Our Beloved Summer has aired, but the ratings aren’t great.
On the evening of December 6, Our Beloved Summer, the project that marked Kim Da Mi‘s return after nearly two years since Itaewon Class, was officially broadcast. Although it was highly anticipated thanks to the presence of the Artificial Assassin couple Kim Da Mi – Choi Woo Sik, the drama had a quite poor start. The drama’s first-day nationwide rating was only 3.2 percent, which is a very low figure.
The first episode of Our Beloved Summer introduces the two main characters in detail. They used to be Kook Yeon Soo (Kim Da Mi), who was the top student in the entire school, and Choi Woong (Choi Woo Sik), who was the top student but came from the bottom. Despite the fact that they hated each other, they were also forced to star in a school reality show by chance. Not sure what happened after that, but they spent ten years loving and hurting each other. Later, they morphed into the people they didn’t want, then met by chance thanks to Kook Yeon Soo’s work.
Netizens were immediately enthralled by the drama’s content, particularly Kim Da Mi’s return, after the first episode aired. Despite having to play two life stages of the same character, Kim Da Mi, as 19-year-old Yeon Soo or 29-year-old, is still very beautiful. Netizens are also enthralled by the couple’s chemistry.
