The Givers’ CEO Ahn Sung Il revealed his position regarding controversy over “forging academic and career backgrounds”

The Givers’ CEO Ahn Sung Il admitted some of the charges of forging academic and career backgrounds.

On July 25th, CEO Ahn Sung Il’s side said, “We have confirmed the wrong parts regarding CEO Ahn Sung Il’s academic and career backgrounds, and we apologize for the confusion in this regard. We will take corrective action.”

On July 24th, TV Daily reported, “CEO Ahn’s official academic background was marked on the portal as ‘a graduate of Chung-Ang University’s Department of Business Administration’, but CEO Ahn’s name is not on the list of graduates from Chung-Ang University.”

Earlier, The Givers, headed by Ahn Sung Il, is in litigation with Attrakt’s CEO Jeon Hong Joon over girl group FIFTY FIFTY.

CEO Jeon Hong Joon of Attrakt, FIFTY FIFTY‘s agency, filed a criminal complaint against The Givers’ CEO Ahn Sung Il on charges of embezzlement, etc, saying that CEO Ahn tried to steal the copyright of “Cupid” and approach the members.

On the other hand, The Givers’ CEO Ahn Sung Il claimed that he received the stake through due process from three Swedish original composers last February regarding the copyright of “Cupid”.

On July 7th, Attrakt filed an additional criminal complaint against The Givers, saying, “While organizing the acquisition and transfer documents, Attrakt discovered an embezzlement case conducted by The Givers without prior consultation with our company. Upon verification, we confirmed that The Givers had forged false service contracts for embezzlement.
