The Black Label To Launch New Girl Group In First Half Of 2024, Will Shinsegae’s Granddaughter Join?

The Black Label, the music agency founded by producer Teddy, will introduce a new girl group in the first half of this year

On February 6th, The Black Label stated, “The girl group produced by The Black Label is preparing for their debut in the first half of this year”.

Regarding information such as the number of members, the agency said, “We will disclose details later. Please understand”.

Recently, there has been a rumor that Moon, the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group’s Chairman Lee Myung-hee and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae President Jung Yoo-kyung, who is running Shinsegae Department Store, will make her debut as an idol in the new girl group under The Black Label.

Photos showing Moon and other trainees from The Black Label recently spread in online communities.

In addition to Moon, the photos attracted keen attention with the appearance of former kid model Ella Gross and famous dancer Bailey Sok.

The Black Label has not released a clear stance on the rumor of Moon’s debut in their girl group. However, they raised expectations by officially announcing the new girl group plan.

The Black Label is a company founded by Teddy, who used to be active as 1TYM and the producer of BIG BANG, 2NE1, and BLACKPINK at YG Entertainment. The agency is currently managing BIG BANG’s Taeyang, Jeon So-mi, Zion.T an actor Park Bo-gum.
