“Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” Lee Dong Wook defeats Jung Sun Chul and regains his own body

“Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” Lee Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) got his body back after a fierce battle.

In the new episode of tvN’s Sat-Sun drama “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” (written by Han Woo Ri/ directed by Kang Shin Hyo and Jo Nam Hyung), which aired on June 10th, Lee Yeon regained his body and beat Nyudo (Jung Sun Chul).

On the broadcast, Lee Yeon noticed that the Shinigami mercenary team has five members after his body was taken by Nyudo. Pretending to be Nyudo, Lee Yeon instigated Yuki (Kim Seung Hwa) and Oogama (Lee Kyu Ho), saying “Let’s catch them, the gumihos and mountain gods. Ushi Uchibo already died and I’m getting chased. We can only take one treasure. What would the boss say?”.

Later, Lee Yeon safely reunited with Ryu Hong Joo (Kim So Yeon) and Cheon Moo Young (Ryu Kyung Soo), but the battle was not easy. Nyudo, disguised as Lee Yeon, attacked Ryu Hong Joo, who overpowered Oogama. Cheon Moo Young was turned into ice after losing to Yuki. Ryu Hong Joo surprisedly said, “Yeon ah, why did you do that?”. Nyudo proudly revealed his identity, saying, “I’m not Lee Yeon. I’m Nyudo of the Shinigami mercenary team”.

However, Lee Yeon did not stay still. He waited for an opportunity when Nyudo abandoned his body to take over Cheon Moo Young’s body. Despite getting injured, Lee Yeon successfully got his own body back. In the end, Lee Yeon defeated Nyudo and successfully reclaimed the guardian stone as well as geumcheok.
