T-ara’s Jiyeon Surprised To See “Roly Poly” MV Shown In Tokyo, “Thank You My Youth”

Jiyeon of T-ara recalled unexpected memories during her trip to Japan

On December 14th, Jiyeon posted a Japan travel vlog on her YouTube channel. In this video, Jiyeon and her husband Hwang Jae-gyun went to Tokyo with their acquaintances.

After checking in at the hotel, Jiyeon and the others went to eat ramen by taxi. Jiyeon exchanged conversations with the taxi driver in fluent Japanese, which made Hwang Jae-gyun was surprised and said, “Oh, you’re good at Japanese.” When asked, “You’re good at Japanese?” Jiyeon laughed, saying, “I did it because I am filming a video.” Hwang Jae-gyun praised his wife, saying, “I only trust Jiyeon for this Japan trip.”

After eating ramen, they headed to Shinjuku. “There is Kabukicho Tower. There will be restaurants where you can eat food from various places all over Japan,” Hwang suggested.

As she climbed up the tower, Jiyeon found herself on a big screen. She said, “It’s me! It’s the Japanese music video for “Roly Poly.” Wow.” Hwang Jae-gyun also captured his wife with the camera, saying, “Oh? That’s amazing.”

Jiyeon said, “Hello, long time no see. I didn’t expect to see you here, but it was amazing and thankful as the music video was being released 12 years ago. I’m so happy to see you, my youth.”
