Netflix unveiled the teaser poster for the new original series “Sweet Home Season 2” on Nov 6th
The poster captured a tense moment against the background of a crumbling stadium.
The main character Cha Hyun-soo (played by Song Kang) appeared. He is confronting someone with his monster wing spread. The helicopter spotlight aimed at him and the soldiers’ gun barrels intensified the sense of crisis.
Song Kang grew even further through this work. He said, “I had a thirst for deeper emotions and more dramatic elements. ‘Sweet Home’ helped quench that thirst. I was able to grow that much.”
Director Lee Eung-bok emphasized that the story focuses on Hyun-soo, who survives on the brink of despair, not giving up on his humanity until the end. He encouraged expectations for the series.
Meanwhile, “Sweet Home Season 2” is a thriller drama based on the webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of individuals fighting for survival in a world where desires turn into monsters. It is scheduled to be released on Dec 1st.
