KCDF is promoting Hanbok products designed through collaboration between domestic Hanbok small and medium-sized enterprises and Hallyu cultural artists to promote them domestically and internationally. They are working on the “Planning and Development of Hallyu-Related Collaboration Contents in the Hanbok Field” project to expand the influence of Hallyu.

This year, six domestic Hanbok small and medium-sized enterprises selected through a contest developed Hanbok products with Suzy as the model, designing Hanbok that maintains traditional elements while incorporating a modern flow and sensibility.

Meanwhile, KCDF’s Director Jang Dong-kwang said, “It’s an honor to be able to introduce our traditional clothing, Hanbok, in the heart of New York. Through collaboration between domestic Hanbok companies and Hallyu cultural artists, it has become a great opportunity to introduce the beauty of Hanbok to the world. We’ll spare no effort in supporting Hanbok to become Hallyu’s driving force in the future.”
