Song Ji Hyo to leave Creative Group ING and has yet to sign with a new agency  

Song Ji Hyo will become a free agent instead of renewing her contract with her current agency.

As reported by Sports Seoul on August 25th, the exclusive contract between Song Ji Hyo and her current agency, Creative Group ING, will expire this October.

Song Ji Hyo has been with Creative Group ING since the early days, when the agency was established in 2019. After three years of working together, the two sides recently decided not to renew their contract after in-depth discussions. Although there are various options such as transferring to a new agency or establishing a one-man agency, Song Ji Hyo reportedly plans to work independently for the time being.

Meanwhile, Song Ji Hyo debuted as a cover model for the magazine “Kiki” in 2001. Starting with the movie “Wishing Stairs” in 2003, she then started an acting career and starred in various dramas such as “Princess Hours”, “Jumong”, “Emergency Couple”, “Lovely Horribly”, “Was It Love?”, “The Witch’s Diner”. She has also built a solid filmography by appearing in movies namely “A Frozen Flower”, “Sex Is Zero 2”, “New World”, “Unstoppable” and “Intruder”. In addition to acting, Song Ji Hyo is active as a variety star. She has been a fixed member of the entertainment program “Running Man” for a long time.
