Seo In Guk reveals the behind story of “Please Don’t…” music video he filmed with Ahn Jae Hyun 10 years ago

The music video of K. Will’s third full album Part 1 title song “Please Don’t…” shocked all K-pop fans around the world when it was released in 2012. Starring young stars, such as Seo In Guk, Sistar Dasom and Ahn Jae Hyun, the music video presented a story with a shocking twist in the ending.

Before the MV ended, the whole video is about Seo In Guk’s one-sided love for Dasom and his heartbreaking farewell as Dasom marries his friend Ahn Jae Hyun. However, the ending revealed the truth that Seo In Guk actually has a one-sided love for Ahn Jae Hyun. The last scene shows Seo In Guk tearing a photo of the three and putting the pieces together to make him and Ahn Jae Hyun together. 

Recently, netizens on various online communities brought up the behind-the-scenes story about the twist revealed by actor Seo In Guk.

In October last year, Seo In Guk and Ahn Jae Hyun appeared on tvN’s program “My Shoulder Is Dislocated”

On the broadcast that day, Seo In Guk mentioned the music video shoot. When asked if he knew the story ending in advance, Seo In Guk said, “I was told about it on the set”.

He continued, “During the filming, I was suddenly asked to tear the photo and put the pieces together. They told me to put me and Jaehyun together and covered Dasom”.

Seo In Guk shocked everyone when he revealed that he did not know the original story was about him having a crush on Ahn Jae Hyun until just before the filming.

Hearing that, Ahn Jae Hyun asked, “In Guk ah, do you want to film the second episode of ‘Please Don’t…’?”. In response, Seo In Guk said, “I like the idea”, drawing laughter
