Comedian-actor Song In Hwa is drawing attention by revealing the fact that she has a girlfriend and a conversation record with her lover.
Song In Hwa posted a video on the YouTube channel ‘RGtv’ on the 6th titled ‘I told you we’re not in trouble?!?!?‘
She wrote a noticeable description at the bottom of the video in Korean, which is, “Hello~~~ I’m Song In Hwa of RGTV. There are provocative articles today, and some people are already worried about this and that. No matter how nervous you are, you have to start before it ends… I don’t know why you are watching us and what you are expecting from us, but the two of us are trying to enjoy our treacherous journey, making it precious. What should I do with my mom? Ah… What about my dad? And my older sister? I’m in trouble… But that’s how it is, what can I do? I will start by asking for forgiveness…! I don’t know who’s watching our channel, but I hope you take it easy on us~”.
The 21-second video contains a short conversation between the two. They were shocked because Song’s mother contacted them after she came out.
In the video, Song In Hwa hurriedly called her lover and announced, “Honey, I’m in trouble. I got a message from my mom,” and seemed worried, “I think my mom saw the article. That one.”
Song In Hwa then said, “Do you know what mom’s kakaotalk message is?” and Song In Hwa‘s girlfriend laughed, “I don’t know, how did I know?” The video ended with two people’s laughter.
Earlier in the day, an entertainment media reported that Song In Hwa was recently dating a woman. Song In Hwa said via the media, “I don’t want you to look at homosexuality only in terms of sexuality,” adding, “What I feel for my girlfriend is a love just like any other lovers.“
Song In Hwa made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2005 with the movie ‘My Boss, My Teacher’, and became well-known by appearing on KBS2’s ‘Rounding Off(Season3)’, SBS’ ‘It’s Okay, Daddy’s Girl’, and Channel A’s ‘Miss Panda and Mr. Hedgehog’.
In 2013, she was selected as a comedian for the 28th open recruitment of KBS and turned into a comedian. However, she was charged with smoking marijuana in December of the same year and sentenced to six months in prison with probation.
