Song Ha-yoon Refused to Apologize Multiple Times, Ruining Her Own Career?

It was revealed that Song Ha-yoon had multiple chances to apologize and reflect, but ignored them all, leading to her downfall.

On April 1, allegations of Song Ha-yoon‘s school violence were raised through a JTBC program. In response, Song Ha-yoon’s side acknowledged that the actress was forced to transfer schools, but denied the allegations of school violence.

Later on on April 8, JTBC aired another report, where a victim accused Song Ha-yoon of group assault in their interview.

According to this victim, they suffered from injuries for more than 4 weeks due to this incident. Two of the perpetrators later came to their house to apologize, but Song Ha-yoon never gave them any apology. The same victim mentioned that they became a victim of group assault due to Song Ha-yoon’s instigation, and Song Ha-yoon herself was also involved in the assault.

Meanwhile, the first victim emphasized in the JTBC broadcast that their revelations were not false.

According to former entertainment reporter Lee Jin-ho, the first whistleblower and the second victim’s interviews contradict the explanation of Song Ha-yoon’s agency, leading to additional disclosures.

He explained that the first whistleblower (hereinafter referred to as B), gave Song Ha-yoon and her agency about a month’s time and opportunity to apologize, and if Song Ha-yoon had shown courage, this controversy might not have arisen.

B wanted the reasons for the assault against them and a sincere apology, but Song Ha-yoon’s agency did not accept the demands. Furthermore, B also criticized the agency for not conveying the contents of their communication with Song Ha-yoon.

B also told Lee Jin-ho that if Song Ha-yoon’s side had apologized, they wouldn’t have wanted to make the issue public. The agency’s response ended up exacerbating the problem.

If Song Ha-yoon had acknowledged and reflected on her past, she could have continued her heyday with “Marry My Husband”. Ultimately, it was her refusal to apologize that led to her downfall.
