Korean media outlets recently reported that idol/actor Cha Eun Woo had just purchased a new residence. Accordingly, the actor is revealed to have paid cash for a 4.9 billion won flat at Bill Polaris Penthouse in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul without any loan.

Choi Chi Hoon, the chairman of the Board of Directors of Samsung C&T, was the former owner of this property. According to the Real Estate Registry, Choi purchased this flat in February 2012 for 3.8 billion won and sold it to Eun Woo in July of this year after 9 years and 5 months of ownership. This means Choi made a profit of 1.1 billion won.

Cha Eun Woo is confirmed to have purchased this apartment on July 7. Although it is an apartment building under the building code (as it is built on a scale of 3 floors below ground and 20 floors above) it has a reputation as a luxury house with good privacy as it consists of only one household per floor.

This apartment features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, as well as a view of the Hangang River. All Bill Polaris apartments, according to the real estate industry, are decorated with white marble materials, allowing owners to enjoy city and Hangang river views from the living room and bedroom. Because the complex’s exterior and landscape are well cared for, this complex is also regarded as a ‘small park.’
