Shin Ye Eun, who attracted viewers’ attention by playing young Park Yeon Jin in Netflix’s “The Glory”, completed the pictorial with her unique sparkling eyes shown in the drama.
At the shooting site, Shin Ye Eun received applause from the staff for her fashionable poses, from transparent makeup close to bare face to see-through outfits like pale petals.
In an interview conducted after the photo shoot, she said, “Shin Ye Eun’s rediscovery? I’m not tired of hearing this at all. I really wanted to try a villain role at least once. It seems that many people liked that challenge. I have confidence that I can do well in other roles in the future. If I have a chance later, I want to challenge a period drama that reflects Korea in the 1970s. Of course, I’m happy and grateful, but there’s still a long way to go to be satisfied. So I’m trying to stay calm. I think it’ll be difficult to take the next step if you’re immersed in the thought of ‘I’m doing well now’.”
Meanwhile, “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse”, Shin Ye Eun’s next work after “The Glory“, is set to premiere on March 20th. When asked if the first historical drama challenge was difficult, she replied, “Thanks to my usual love for hanbok and hanok, the filming site itself is healing.
