The wait is finally over! After three long years, Ahn Jae Hyun is making a highly anticipated comeback to the small screen.
On March 7, Ahn Jae Hyun shared his thoughts on appearing in the new KBS-2TV weekend drama “The Real Has Come!” (written by Jo Jeong-joo and directed by Han Joon-seo).
“The Real Has Come!” depicts the story of an unmarried pregnant woman and an umarried man who enter into a false contract which leads them to romance, pregnancy, childbirth and childrearing. Ahn Jae-hyun plays the role of “Gong Tae-kyung,” a highly skilled obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in infertility clinics. He chooses to stay single as he doesn’t want to create a tiring bondage call “family”.
However, he faces an unexpected situation when he meets Oh Yeon-doo (played by Baek Jin-hee). Ahn Jae-hyun recalled, “When I received the synopsis and script, the situation of the work was vividly drawn in my head.”
He also showed his affection for the character, saying, “Gong Tae-kyung is a person with the ‘crispy on the outside and soft in the inside’ charm.”
He continued, “Tae-kyung has no one to rely on, so he is stingy in expressing his emotions. He seems like a perfect person, but I feel sorry for him.”
Ahn Jae-hyun introduced the character’s keywords as “firmness,” “will,” and “strong yet weak,” explaining, “His self-determination is impressive.”
Finally, Ahn Jae-hyun said, “It’s a drama that contains the warm and refreshing spring scent. ‘The Real Has Come!’ will be coming to you soon.”
