Ryu Jun-yeol confessed about “this feeling” that Kim Woo-bin made him feel for the first time ever
Actor Ryu Jun-yeol expressed his feelings about working together with the cast of the movie “Alienoid”.
Ryu Jun-yeol joined an interview with Wikitree at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul at 1 p.m. on July 18th and talked about various stories regarding the movie “Alienoid.”
The first part of “Alienoid” is about a story that unfolds as the door of time opens between the Taoists who want to take over the legendary divine sword at the end of the Goryeo Dynasty and those who chase Alienoid prisoners imprisoned in human bodies in 2022. Ryu Jun-yeol played the role of Taoist Mureuk in Goryeo 30 years ago, and worked together with with Kim Tae-ri, Kim Woo-bin, Kim Eui-sung, Cho Woo-jin, and Yeom Jung-ah.
On this day, Ryu Jun-yeol said, “I have great teamwork with Kim Woo-bin and Kim Tae-ri. Woo-bin is like a real older brother, and Tae-ri is like a friend to me. Both of them are younger than me, but they don’t act like they do. I tend to act cute and play around with my older brothers and sisters, but I feel like I have to take care of them and set an example.”
Ryu Jun-yeol emphasized that Kim Woo-bin is a reliable younger brother who acts like his older brother, while Kim Tae-ri is a friend who is playful and full of laughter. In particular, he mentioned a moment when he felt special feelings even before he became close to Kim Woo-bin.
Kim Woo-bin is returning to the screen six years after the movie “Master” He stopped all activities in 2017 due to nasopharyngeal cancer and was diagnosed with complete recovery in 2019 after two years of fighting the disease.
In this regard, Ryu Jun-yeol said, “I heard about Woo-bin’s health condition shortly after my debut. Actually, it’s embarrassing to say thing, but I’m not that interested in others,” he confessed, “I don’t follow other’s story, and I don’t really watch the news, but when I heard about Woo-bin’s article, I was so amazed that realized ‘I could feel this feeling too’.”
“I felt very strange when I heard that the actor was sick and in a dangerous state. I was in a bad mood that day. It was amazing and grateful that we met in good health later. I even thought, ‘I’ve never had these moments in my life,'” he said, expressing his deep affection for Kim Woo-bin.
The first part of the movie “Alienoid,” starring Ryu Jun-yeol, will be released on July 20th.
