Lee Do-hyun is a South Korean actor born on April 11, 1995 in Seoul, South Korea. He majored in theater at Chung-Ang University and was a basketball player in high-school.
Career
Lee Do-hyun made his acting debut by playing the young version of Jung Kyung-ho’s character in the 2017 K-drama “Prison Playbook”. He later starred in “Still 17” and “Clean with Passion for Now”, assuming minor roles.
In 2019, Lee Do-hyun gained attention for starring as a supporting character in the K-drama “Hotel del Luna”, and finally shot to fame with his first lead role in “18 Again” – a Korean adaptation of the movie “17 Again”.
Despite now being a star actor who plays leading characters, Lee Do-hyun did not hesitate to star in smaller roles in “Sweet Home” and “Beyond Evil”.
He would later continue to expand his character repertoire with “Youth of May”, “Melancholia”, “The Glory”, “The Good Bad Mother”, and “Death’s Game”.
In 2024, he made his official big screen debut in the hit movie “Exhuma”.
With his impressive acting abilities and success, Lee Do-hyun has swept multiple awards at major awards ceremonies, including Best New Actor at the 2021 Baeksang Arts Awards, Best Actor at KBS Drama Awards, among others.

According to Lee Do-hyun himself, he broke up with his girlfriend when he was cast in “Sweet Home”. “I told my girlfriend at the time that we should break up so that I can focus on acting in the drama. I don’t know why I did that”, the actor confessed.
Back in 2020, Lee Do-hyun faced dating rumors after he was spotted liking a photo on SNS platform Instagram. The photo shows a woman wearing a pig hat – which is suspected to be a gift sent to the actor by fans to celebrate his birthday. As a result, many fans expressed disappointment in the actor for giving their gift to his alleged girlfriend.
However, Lee Do Hyun’s agency, Yuehua Entertainment, refuted the claim and explained that the photo was taken around 3 years ago, at a gathering between friends, and the hat was shared among different people.
In April 2023, Dispatch revealed that Lee Do-hyun is in a relationship with his “The Glory” co-star Lim Ji-yeon. The couple also confirmed this dating news shortly after.
