Kim Garam, born on November 16, 2005 in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, was a member of K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM.

Garam’s Short Career that Ended due to Controversies
Kim Garam was the 2nd person to be introduced in the line-up of LE SSERAFIM, and eventually debuted with the group in May 2022 with the mini album “FEARLESS”.
However, since April of the same year, there have been rumors about Garam being a school bully, causing Source Music to make an official statement, claiming that the rumors were slanderous.
Shortly after LE SSERAFIM’s debut, however, an alleged “victim” of Garam appeared and intensified the circumstance. On May 16, a document believed to be a school violence committee meeting with Garam, which revealed the former female idol to have received a level 5 punishment, surfaced, adding to the ongoing flame,
Throughout this, however, Source Music’s parent company HYBE fervently defended Garam, emphasizing that what was being said was nothing but a one-sided perspective. The company also claimed that Garam’s action was to defend a friend, who was a victim of the so-called “victim”, but criticism did not ease.
On May 20, it was announced that Garam would take a break from group activities. However, she later permanently left the group, as announced in July of the same year.

In August, Garam made her 1st official statement through her friend’s SNS account. In this statement, Garam explained her perspective during the “school violence incident”, denied allegations, and claimed that she confronted the “victim” due to the later gossiping uploading photos of another student in their underwear.
After leaving LE SSERAFIM, there were rumors about Garam training to become an actress. She also draws attention for photos of her current status, which spread recently.

Kim Garam has a younger brother born in 2015. She enrolled in the Theater and Film Department at Seoul Performing Arts High School (SOPA).
Prior to LE SSERAFIM, Garam dreamt of becoming an actress. She is known to have appeared in ENHYPEN‘s “Drunk-Dazed” MV.
Garam actually failed the audition to Source Music 2 times. In particular, she participated in the 2018 and 2019 but did not pass, and finally became a trainee after re-auditioning in 2020.
Kim Garam’s idol career only lasted for 18 days until she had to gon on a hiatus.
She was allegedly set to become the center of LE SSERAFIM. In addition, it was suspected that Garam faced school bullying herself after her school violence allegations.
