Jeon Ji-hyun & Kang Dong-won’s New Drama “Polaris” Began Filming This March
The highly anticipated drama “Polaris”, starring Jeon Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won, has begun filming in earnest
Jeon Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won will work together in the new drama “Polaris”. This is a melodrama about spies in search of themselves after losing their identities. Scriptwriter Jung Sang-kyung and producer Kim Hee-won of tvN’s drama “Little Women” joined forces to create this drama.
The two actors positively reviewed the casting offer after receiving it last year. The fact that Kang Dong-won will collaborate with Jeon Ji-hyun and appear in a drama again for the first time in 20 years since SBS’s “Magic” (2004), drew keen attention from fans.
In the meantime, a drama staff recently uploaded a photo of Jeon Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won on their SNS channel with the caption “Polaris. 3/25 First Shooting”, announcing that the production team had started filming their first scenes.
In particular, designer Lee Jung-woo, Jeon Ji-hyun’s mother-in-law, also expressed her expectation for Jeon Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won’s collaboration in this drama project with a post, saying “My favorite combination! Finally”.
As the filming has begun, drama fans and Jeon Ji-hyun’s mother-in-law will be able to see their long-awaited combination very soon.
