Police’s defeat: G-Dragon tested negative until the last test, not considering additional tests

Singer G-Dragon, who faced suspicions of drug use, tested negative until the last test

On Nov 24th, JTBC reported that the National Forensic Service determined that G-Dragon did not dye his hair.

Earlier, G-Dragon received negative results in the detailed drug tests for hair and nails. Following this, the police requested an additional examination from the National Forensic Service to confirm whether G-Dragon dyed or bleached his hair.

This request was made because it was suspected that G-Dragon might have taken advantage of the fact that drug test accuracy decreases when hair is dyed or bleached.

However, the confirmation revealed that G-Dragon did not dye or bleach his hair recently, as he initially stated during his first police attendance on Nov 6th when asked if he dyed or bleached his hair.

Accordingly, the police reportedly stated to the media that they are not considering additional tests for G-Dragon.

Currently, G-Dragon received negative results in both the preliminary reagent test and the detailed tests. The police investigated G-Dragon based on the statement of the manager of an adult entertainment establishment in Gangnam, Seoul, but they have not found any other evidence.

In a situation where it is difficult to obtain evidence, it seems that the police will focus on proving the charges by investigating witnesses, etc.
