People’s splitted reactions after watching the trailer of “My Love From The Star”’s Japanese remake   

A preview of the Japanese version of “My Love from the Star” has been released.

On Feb 8th, the main trailer for the Japanese remake of “My Love from the Star” is uploaded on the online community theqoo.

The video is a trailer of the Japanese remake of SBS’s “My Love from the Star” which aired in 2013. Amazon Prime Original is in charge of producing the Japanese version, not a terrestrial broadcast station.

The Japanese version of “My Love from the Star” trailer contains a similar directing technique that looks almost the same as the original Korean drama.

In particular, several scenes in the drama, including the scene where Jeon Ji-hyun (played as Chun Song-yi) takes a funny commemorative photo with other female actors, the house where Kim Soo-hyun (played as Do Min-jun) and Jeon Ji-hyun meet, and the background, were consistent with the original drama.

After seeing the trailer, Korean netizens responded in various ways, saying “I think they are lacking a little bit of acting skill,” “Jeon Ji-hyun did a great job,” and “I’ll look forward to it because it hasn’t come out yet.”
